I have started collecting Vintage/Antique furniture and restore them. Upcycling is fun however try to avoid touching up expensive or sentimental pieces until you’ve practiced on similar surfaces.
I have learn that preparation is the key.

| Cleaned down the furniture, removed the hardware (drawer knobs) and then sanded down.
Applied Prime/undercoat paint. Then apply the paint of your choice. |

After few coats (make sure you let the paint dry in between) then I applied a black paint (sort of drybrush). However, I use a cloth to apply rather than brush in this case |
