Samsung reveals NX Mini SMART camera

The South Korean firm, Samsung has announced a newest member to its NX mini SMART line, the Samsung NX mini.

The company claims that the camera is the "thinnest and lightest interchangeable-lens" of its kind. The camera is reported to be built with selfies and portability in mind.

The NX mini SMART comes in white, pinck, mint green, brown and black and will be available for $449 (£270) a 9mm f/3.5 lens comes bundled with the camera, and a 9-27mm zoom lens with flash for $549 (£330).

The camera features a a 20.5-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 6fps continuous shooting, and 1/16000-second shutter speed, as well as a 3-inch 320 x 480 flip up (can flip up to 80 degrees) and touch display for capturing self portraits.

Other features include NFC and Wi-Fi connectivity options. With NFC, users can easily pair the camera with other smart devices to share photoes to multiple devices. You will also be able to control the camera remotely. It can even function as a Baby Monitor, sending an alert to the paired smartphone when the camera detects some noise.
